Is it possible to run these two together? I'm already running the AEM EMS in Speed Density but I am confused on how the Aquamist and AEM will work together. How does the Aquamist know when to spray? Thanks

Yes its possible to run the two together. I am running a simular set up using a 5th injector running off the AEM.

 

I was running AEM with the AEM Meth kit. All meth kits are about the same, so yes it is 100% possible. My car was the car in DSport last month with the AEM Failsafe testing.

My car made 402/402 on dyno paks, with 50/50 and 28psi.

Well 91oct is such ****ty gas, that anything is an improvement.

91oct = 330whp
91oct+Meth = 400whp
E85 = 450whp

So for me it is all about what you have available. I really liked the AEM Meth Injection Monitor. It worked very well, and RRE put it through all the trials. It protected my motor from every fail condition they could reproduce. Hell we even unpluged the pump mid way through a pull.

As far as how the car drives with meth injection, I would say it make power like it is on E85. Even my timing map looked very close to an E85 timing map. The car pulled very hard a 400. I was really happy with it.

 

What are you injecting( Alky, Meth, Meth/H2O)?

 

The HFS series uses injector pulse width to know when to spray. So taping into the wires leading to an injector should do it.

 

I was running 50/50 water and VP M1. AEM recommend that you run no more than 50% Meth, this is because 50/50 is not flamable. But it is really personal preferance, I hear a lot of people run 100% meth.

there is no need to install Aqumist controller when you have AEM EMS, you can control evrth by AEM
