Evo 9 Aquamist HFS-6 Alt Map

I have installed my HFS-6 and am currently trying to figure out how to wire it for alt map as a Failsafe. The manual does tell you which wire, pink one, but does not say where in the Evo 9 ECU you wire that up to. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

This is kind of a n00b question but to make Tephra Alt Map work, do i need to buy anything or is it all coded in the ECU?

So question about this.....

So pin 64 is blank on the ecu... Do I need to add a pin in the ecu, add the wire, and then the tuner knows what to do?

I downloaded a EVO ecu pinout diagram just to see and even it shows #64 as empty

Yes, you need to add a pin. I had bought a map switch kit from Buschur a while back for my old meth kit and then wound up going with the Aquamist kit. Since the map switching is built in to this kit I just needed the pin from the map switch assembly.

Yes on a IX you have to add a pin and do some easy electronics to have less than 5V on the input when running on Alt map. If you do not feel confident with wiring and/or ROM tuning, go with someone who knows about both.
