Nitrous on the evos

I just took the nitrous off my evo and would be happy to sell it to you, I ran 100 shot single fogger into the upic pipe w/o issue at 30psi on hta 3586. I later went direct port but never used it in that fashion.
Got rid of the AEM to use factory ecu again, so there went my nitrous control and off the kit came, didn't care enough to buy what I needed to support it on oem ecu.

Nitrous is an interesting item, and there are two venues that accept it--- the street and the strip. All other forms of racing (except for drift--- that is way out of scope of what I do) prohibit the use of nitrous. And if you run organized drag racing, then you're still out as most classes allow one power adder and that is your turbo.
With the "disclaimer" out of the way... Nitrous is a hell of a lot of fun, until the bottle runs out and it always does after you got done screwing around and then you want it to make a statement. And when it is cold out and you have a heater on the bottle, it takes forever to get up to pressure. I have only used Nitrous Express over the years and the most that I have had to do is change the fuel jet to one size smaller as it ran a tad too rich and after that it was good to go. Their systems are good and I have never had any problems. A 50-shot single nozzle will make a stock turbo or even small upgraded turbo's overall do some amazing tricks as far as spool. For me I NEVER used a mechanical throttle switch, always electronic and it is also important to use a window switch--- not on before lets say 3000rpm and to turn off ~500rpm before your redline. It is a safety thing that I always have in the back of my mind. Also, never use it on a 2-step launch... bad things will happen.
Personally, go alcohol injection. Will allow more boost and has less worries overall. Use at least a mix of 75% methanol and you will be good to go. Progressive systems are tops, on/ off systems are not even a consideration.
