Arizona Freak Snow Storm
Did anyone else get stuck in the snow in Flagstaff?
This last Saturday (December 4th) I headed up to Flagstaff for a surprise party my friend was throwing for his parents' retirement. The weather said snow was in the forcast for Sunday so I figured I would be okay to take the EVO with summer tires up for the day. Boy was I wrong...
My wife and I got stuck up there Saturday night with multiple accidents on both I-17 and I-40 causing freeway closures.
I never thought I would ever hate driving my car, but driving in the snow with summer tires really sucks! Making a turn at 5 mph resulted in fishtailing, and any use of the brakes locked up the wheels.
It sure kills you to see Toyota Camrys and Chevy Cavaliers pass you on the interstate because your EVO can only go 35mph! lol
