went to the pavillions last night rolling 6 evos deep and with a skyline R32 GTS-T. we had a total of 13 evo show up. this is by far the most ever but still disappointing given that we are the 5th largest city in the US. here are pics starting from my apt:

Was there just a large meet going on that everyone decided to go to, or is a regular occasion (if that makes sense)?

 

the gathering at the pavillions is a weekly event weather permitting. usually there are 2 or 3 evos at the most. lots of collector cars & domestics show up around 2pm, & the imports roll in at sunset.

 

13 evos/no rims??? whats up with all of you guys?

 

I understand that vegas is all about the bling, but wheels don't make you faster. Bunch of sleepers. It's what you don't see that counts.
(I got the slow one with the 18s that's not in the pics. ha ha ha)

 

You guys meet every Saturday or every other Saturday? I can probably make it to a meet this Saturday.

 

Nice pics. I have made the drive from Tucson to the pavillions a few times. It has been a longggggggggg time for me though, almost 1 year I think.

2 evos with rims were there actually. my '03 would have rims but i don't have $700/wheel for the blitz technospeed Z1's,

or the Advan Super advan version racing 2's,


nor the $1000 for these Advan A032R tires.

I would have gone...but I am having problems with my brakes and alignment right now...should be fixed this week though...

 

you guys do track events ever? not drag racing.. but id like to see some other evo owners out doing events... i try to at least once a month..

 

You need to bring your damn EvoVII out with us. Me and Kenny tried to hit you up a few times, I even got Jimmy to bring out the R32, that should be enough motivation!
