I did not mean to turn this into a *****fest, but had his tone and information been different, we may have not been arguing...

Don't sing it, bring it...still waiting on numbers, price, software/hardware info....

Again, I am not trying to stir a bee's nest, I'm cool with you all and would probably get along with you all very well, just a disagreement over loyalty that's all. I am sure the guy is good at tuning cars and look forward to another shop to hit up. But Rich, be expensive he may, has a proven track record...
Heh, I said 2 sentences which caused you to become insulting. Although I suppose it's all opinion, your interpretation of my comments were off. I had no intent to create this drama, as I said numerous times before, I simply offered an alternative. I indicated cost as a factor and that seemed to blow it out of proportion for you, which is indeed childish. I'm reluctant to contine debating this on your level so this will more than likely be my last post in this thread. Those who were interested have already contacted me which is cool, all I wanted was to help out. I made no mention of tuning abilities or that I "could do so much more better" than anyone which you seemed to cite out of nowhere.

Because of your attitude and lackluster opinion of me, I'd rather not deal with you. I wont offer you any pricing or quote any figures, it's not my shop and I lose/gain nothing with your interest.

I hold no grudge with you or anyone else, if I came off arrogant or hurt your feelings, then I apologize it certainly wasn't intentional. I share the same respect for cars that we all do here.

I apologize for being insulting, but you did come off rather condescending...

You guys sure do know how to represent AZ. You guys are all @SS HOLES, and on top of all that...you just made all Evo owners look like children. If i was the guy who had either shop...lol...I would be pissed that you would come on here and represent the shop in such a bad way. Thx but no thx.

price will be about $399 for an Ecutek tune. he can do techtom also (like Al uses)

As far as Rich is concerned i don't doubt his tuning ability with a Subaru, Shelby Charger, or Mercedes, HOWEVER, i don't know a single evo owner in AZ who had their car tuned there.

That's cause ECUtek is not in Rich's possession yet...

If he can tune all of those cars, all of which are immensely hard to tune for, what makes you think he couldn't tune an Evo, which everyone says is very easy to tune (if you know what you're doing)?

That's less than the software itself!! Are you sure? Does that include dyno tuning, or just plug 'n' play...

not sure yet but his 4WD Mustang dyno is almost here. expected shop open date is 05/01. just east of Mesa Dr/Southern behind the car wash. 6K sqft facility. BTW, he already HAS the ecutek software & can tune you NOW if you wanted it. you can go to Rich & pay more if you wish but i would rather have my car tuned by someone who OWNS an evo like AL...

How does this keep going back to WHO owns WHAT??

Since when can someone not tune a car that the shop doesn't own? Tuning is tuning, and Richard has proven himself on many cars, including EVO's, BMW, Mini, MB, VW, Porsche, etc, etc, etc...

I find it hard to believe that he has the software already, and for that cheap... I call b.s.

Having a car reflashed with EcuTek means buying a liscence to the software... which costs more than $399.... sounds kinda shady to me. My buddy has the software and is one of the few US EcuTek tuners to have flashed over 100cars with EcuTek... not counting reflashed for more mods. Just waiting on me to get off my *** and mod the car.

399 is way low though... I'd question what was really going on there since EcuTek liscencing is around 600
