Alright, I've heard enough.

The shop has yet to open and there are MANY things yet to be resolved. You guys are making the owners/employees/future customers out to be a bunch of clowns. IT'S NOT YOUR SHOP, STOP TALKING IT UP! YOU'RE NOT HELPING IN ANY WAY!

As for everyone else, (Evil, I think I actually met you at Landspeed once) as a future emplyoyee and close personal friend of an owner I can assure you service will be top notch and prices will be extremely competetive. I hope this ridiculous post hasn't soured expectations, See you all opening day

i'm sure you guys will be better than most of the local shops... who are you competing with vivid(kids with rich parents), dynocomp(who wants to pay scottsdale prices for anything?), or intense?

I think all of them will be competitors because they all specialize in the import aftermarket industry. I've dealt with each of the above and all the shops have their advantages and disadvantages. Truth be told, if SRD had a dyno I'd probably stick with them for all my needs, but since they don't (and now that they're not open on Saturdays), I've been dealing mostly with Rich. However, any good companies coming in is always a good thing.

i do most of the work on my evo myself, but if it's something i don't feel comfortable with i take it to SRD... although joe doesn't work there anymore, it's still a pretty good shop... the one thing i can honestly say about that place is they don't rip people off

i've never had a problem with them after 4 years...

Whoa, Joe doesn't work there anymore? When did that happen? I haven't been to the shop for almost seven months, so I barely found out last week they're not open on Saturdays anymore.

I dunno...I know SCO bought Southwest Motorsports a few years back, then I heard they acquired SRD, but again, this is all heresay...I cannot prove it. I don't shop there, and don't know the Maggiores either...
