ATTN AZ EVO VIII Owners...

Finally, the long wait is soon to be over...Rich at Dyno-Comp has confirmed the ECUtek's arrival and will be ready to dyno-tune the EVO VIII near the end of May...If we can get 5-10 EVO VIII's up there for a dyno tuning session, we will save roughly $100.00 on the dyno...the software will be roughly $650-700 and the dyno passes will be around $100...He said he will be able to discount the dyno tune with atleast 5 people, but the more that show up, the bigger the discount.

No hurry, still have about a month until its ready...whoever is in...reply here so I can tell him. Once they are done with the 'One Lap of America' he will be ready for us!!

I don't want/need to dyno tune my car, I just need to dyno it. Comon Antonio, quickly setup a dyno day for us when that shop opens in May. Oh by the way, is it a dyno dynamics dyno???

There's a new shop in town...you have that price WAYYYY beat...yet the shop isn't finished...RIGHT?!? Kinda like I spanked that SL600...after I get my ECU reflashed, turbo upgrade, nitrous, and stroker kit installed...SPANKED!!

That isn't too convincing. you'll have to sell me better than that. What type of dyno will you use? What ECU software will you install? What will the price be for the dyno time and sofware install/tune? I need more information, not just aimless stabs in the dark on an internet forum making empty claims bro, I hope you have a sales rep, not just an EVO owner...

Uhm, yeah if you can infer some bull**** about nitrous and SL600's from what I posted above, please continue those sort of comments on some Honda board. I posted what I did just to generate interest and offer alternatives. For 2 days this thread was...dead. It seems clear to me not many are interested in Dyno-Comp. I mean honestly, I'll feel a little more comfortable having a shop tune my car that actually owns an evo and isn't biased towards Subaru. I didn't post the specific rates because the owner requested I didn't, but I can assure you they are far superior to DC's.

I don't need to sell "you" anything. I'm no salesman and neither are you, frankly I couldn't give a **** about having to convince you anything. May 1st is what 15 days away, it would take longer just to organize the meet. There are a few people here that already know about the shop and the rates so I'm not stating anything new. My credability is established to the point where I don't need to justify my posts. I've met gotten/given respect from most of the AZ evo owners already.

But hey, if you wanna hit up DC, please don't think I'm stopping you at all. We can even meet up afterwards and I'll buy the drinks with the money I saved.

All I am trying to say is that you posted that you can beat a price...didn't say by how much (which I know know because of the owner's request), with what software, and when. As for your credibility, I am not attacking it, you just took offense...and you don't know me, so saying anything about me is not your place and really won't help that shop in getting my business. For those lucky 'few' individuals who already know you, good for them. I just think you should be professional and have provided more info before you "claim" you can do so much better than Rich...his numbers and track record are proven not just with SCoobies, but other VERY HIGH CLASS CARS! AS for a shop owner owning an EVO, that's cool and all, but that doesn't really solidify them as a reputable or even knowedgable tuner...

hit me with raw numbers (hp, torque, boost, air/fuel ratios, and dyno type), software, and an estimate for the work and maybe I will change my tune.

Again, I am not attacking anyone, any shop at all...I just thought your response was childish...sorry if I came across indifferently...not trying to get the local EVO owners against me...

Thanks for screwing up a perfectly good thread, a-hole. Who cares if you "know" a shop that can do tuning cheaper. Thanks for the useless info. This wasn't about finding the lowest, rock-bottom price on tuning. This was about getting a tuning/ reflash day going at Dyno-Comp... personally I'd choose Dyno-Comp over "your" shop any day...

It's all in a name... it's like paying $100k+ for a Mercedes... You buy it for the name and prestige. They have gone over above for me on several occasions to justify the expense I pay, and it gets done right the first time, not 3 or 4 times like some of these hack-shops.(KingPin)

You can have your shop... and your extra money... you'll need it when something breaks.

That is all.

And thanks for contributing absolutely nothing. You don't even drive an Evo, poser. So please tell me how in any way this affects you? Although it was entertaining, like i reiterated above, I posted a viable alternative nothing more nothing less. I'm not forcing you to do anything. Once again this thread was dead for 2 days, posted an option and woke it up. I fail to see where me posting an alternative to a shop with something albeit new poses such a problem. Well I digress, those who are interested have already let me know so please PLEASE the Mercedes comments, they're out of place. Ok, thanks!

Thanks for wasting 5 min of my time DumbuRX.

Wow... DumbuRX... funny. A real knee slapper. That took some intelligence.

If you want to plug 'your' shop, then go ahead... in a DIFFERENT thread. It's not wanted, nor needed here.

Dyno-Comp has a loyal following, and always will. Their reputation stands before them.

Now go away.

now who are you to be jumping on somebody who is on an evo forum w/out an evo? 1st of all it's not Antonio's shop, it is a reputable tuner from Orlando who works on ALL makes of cars using Ecutek & Techtom software at a price that is less than snobby Rich. who cares if he is a Renntech dealer. Jay's daily driver is an E55 AMG (JUST SO YOU KNOW) & HE CAN FLASH THAT TOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Antonio was not attempting to bad mouth or shut down anyoneS shop, IT WAS SIMPLY ANOTHER ALTERNATIVE. get over yourself & trade your car in & go buy some sense & quit interrupting grown folks talking with your slowbaru...

No offense bro...but his Slowbaru would rape most EVO's in Phoenix...I've been in in a few times and I can tell you few EVOs can touch it without equal modifications...As for the 'alternative' shop...its cool to have options for tuners...but just how the guy came across and the fact the this shop is not even up and running and he's talking **** is what bothered me...I highly doubt the owner of the shop would want his advertising to be in this form...I just thought antonio acted like an a$$ and could have approached the situation better, that's all...

I did not mean to turn this into a *****fest, but had his tone and information been different, we may have not been arguing...

Don't sing it, bring it...still waiting on numbers, price, software/hardware info....

Again, I am not trying to stir a bee's nest, I'm cool with you all and would probably get along with you all very well, just a disagreement over loyalty that's all. I am sure the guy is good at tuning cars and look forward to another shop to hit up. But Rich, be expensive he may, has a proven track record...

I love how all you guys think your evo's are king ****. I'm on here, as well as many other forums, because I have nothing but respect for cars, no matter what the brand. It's all about modifications and speed. Apparently you people haven't "Evolved" enough to share that love for all things fast.

P.S. I said "your" (note the quotations) shop, as in... not his shop, but THE shop he is speaking of.
