Its funny that so many people are still here even though they hate it so much. I haven't liked it since I moved here 5 years ago and I haven't found a way to get out. I'm kind of stuck here for a little while longer or at least until my appreciation on my house tapers off. My biggest problem is the people here and the lack of a pulse or culture. There is too much new money, crackheads and illegals. It seems like most of the people here are kind of running away from something so the people that you meet are real shady and you can't trust anyone. I really miss the real people in Co that care about things other than money and pimp status. If I could go back in time, I definately wouldn't have moved here.
Well for all those that hate AZ, at least we've gotten through the wicked summer. From now until April, you can't beat the weather.
I personally love AZ. I've been to California enough times to know I never want to live there, just visit from time to time. Maybe living in Mexico for a few years makes any place better than there

I love it here....I moved here from Columbus, OH....Columbus sucked bigtime....People that say they hate it or there is nothing to do, are just hermits....Go out sometimes and see what out there....No one going to hurt you......LOL
Yeah, it's finally nice outside! But like every winter the birds fly south... the snowbirds I mean. I have never see more stupid drivers in my life than in AZ during the winter. It's always some old bastard who can barely see who's driving down the wrong side of the road, or not looking where the F- they are going. *sigh*
But everywhere I've lived I can think of one reason or another of why it sucks. Personally, I don't think it's too bad here. But if you hate snow and don't mind 110 degree heat in the summer, AZ isn't a bad choice.

I like it here too. In my years I've learned it's not so much where you live - it's who you associate with. That's what life's all about. So long as you're around the people you love - it doesn't matter where you live.
There is definetly not a "scene" around here like there was in NY for cars. Every night of the week there was a diff town where 100+ cars would show up and bull****, race, whatever.
I have yet to find anything like that, the closest thing being the pavillions which is weak in comparison.

ok, who says there is not a scene??? do the cars not show up at scottsdale pavilians every saturday?? do folks not meet up to "look under eachothers hoods" around the little airport north of Bell ave??? If there is not a scene, make one. I live in MD right now..... anyone from here knows this is a sh#thole... I have never been in a worse place in my life. My family and I are moving back to the Phoenix area sometime in Jan/Feb....... I cant wait... Dont even say traffic... Anyone want to move this way, check out real estate first.!!!
