Is there a Phoenix or Arizona thread (searched and couldn't find one)? I am going to be down there in early Nov. visiting a friend and looking at some houses, and would like to meet some of you guys. Thanks.

u don't really want to move here do u???? there is no scene of any kind here (import cars, dance music, hiphop music, nightlife) here unless u like country music, lifted trucks, old people, golfers, & skinheads...

let us know when u get here though.

I LOVE it here! Of course, I like country music. And lifted trucks (although we call them rigs). I also love my grandparents. I have a 6 handicap on my golf game and I use a #2 for my hair cut.

 

naji its not that bad here. I love it here im from detroit and i love every minute here except the crime rate and stolen vechiles and all the illegals here.

I like it here, but i came from good ole Indiana before hand...so pretty much anything is better.

 

I'm actually planning on moving to the Phoenix area in late November.

I hope it's not that scary, I might pee my pants.

 

Well ill be the one to back Najib up, I dont like it here. Its too ****ing hot and there are way too many mexican illegals. As soon as i can do another job transfer I am out.

I just finished up my first year here in the Valley. There are some cool things here (weather not being one of them). It's definitely not SoCal, but it has that kind of feeling to it now. Everyone is kind of disconnected. Definitely not your small town vibe.

I like it here though. I wish they would build better freeways. They've built a lot, but come on - it's taking forever. Get with the times AZ!
