Does anyone have some good twisty roads near the tempe/phoenix area. Some canyon or open dirt roads would be awesome. I didnt find much when I searched, driving and the forum.

You've gotta go down South Mountain. You will love the twisties there, I used to go every Fri afternoon, now I gotta wait till I get new tires. Be warned there are so many different routes to take you will get addicted.

 

I do the Bush Highway/Usery Pass route almost every day.

Also, not too far from my place is the road up to Canyon Lake. That one is best to go at night because of all the slow *** drivers in the day time. But take that one slow the first couple times if you aren't too familiar with it.

I'll have to try out by South Mountain some time...

 

South Mountain is AMAZING!!!! When is there not a lot of people there?

 

We went driving out past apache junction one night can't remember if that was canyon lake or not but we mashed up it then down it then back up and then back down then up and down one more time... it was ballz to the wall fun...


Wouldn't mind going again late night some weekend...
