Yep you heard right one of our two MR’s is now tuned. (Mine)

My MR is about a week old just went over 400 miles, and we thought “what the hell” lets tune it so on the Mustang Dyno and there she went my baby 06’ IX MR…….


My MR is completely stock and running on Texco Clean System 91 Octane

First pull 5:16pm:

MAX HP - 223.1 @ 6250
MAX TQ – 246.3 @ 3750

Tune Tune Tune Tune

Pull Pull Pull Pull

Last pull 8:21pm:

MAX HP – 276.2 @ 6500
MAX TQ – 285.5 @ 3500


These are incredible numbers and this was tuning MIVEC alone, the AFR is a little off and the timing still needs to be adjusted, oh did I mention the stock boost restriction pill is STILL inline. Yep

Did you add boost or JUST mivec only? Completely stock car 91 octane?

 

Yes it was tuned with EcUteK by the Amazing Jay, Mivec ONLY, ALL STOCK, STILL GOT THE PILL IN, TEXCO 91 OCTANE CLEAN SYSTEM

Yeah boyeee!!! I shoulda hung around longer last night. did the supra ever show up? Those numbers are looking good Johnny. I wish the IS woulda cooperated, very curious what the numbers would have been.

Yes stock boost. The only thing we tune so far was MIVEC only. Fuel, boost, timing is still stock.

Do you have any idea what hp/tq nubmers are for stock Evo VIIIs on your dyno so we have some kind of reference?

So what exactly is different about the car now with the mivec tuned? Does the turbo spool faster? Better low-end power? Midrange? Top end?

I cant wait until you tune timing/boost/fuel. Should be over 300whp !! Just tuning!! Wow...

 

What do you guys mean by MIVEC tuned. tuning the MIVEC is not supposed to give higher peak HP numbers right?

 

Man i wish i waited to get an 06, seeing those kind of #'s.
