HELP. Here is the deal. Very short notcie but Road/Race is helping out on Mitsubishi Commercial. Need CAST of cars and people.

Her are details as of now!

For Sunday....at Road Race Motorsports
WHO: 12 cars w/ 12+ people....age 18-30, cars with interesting exteriors, i.e. flames, designs, etc....EVO 8's priority
WHAT: garage vignette
WHEN: sunday, 3/30/03 approx. 10is AM (exact time TBD)
WHERE: Road Race Motorsports/Culdesac
COMPENSATION: people selected to be on film to be put on extras contract ($275.01) with possiblity of upgrade to principal ($500 + residuals) *this may not be determined until after the final edit. cars used to be paid via cash...(amount TBD)

NEXT

For Sunday open call:
WHO: 50+ cars w/ as many people, friends, etc...18 & older only. All people will need a photo copy of driver's license & proof of insurance & be required to sign a release .
WHAT: meet & drifting sequence
WHERE: Irwindale Speedway parking lot
13300 Live Oak Ln., Irwindale
WHEN: Sunday 3/30 approx. 2pm
COMPENSATION: for all who attend there we will a catered BBQ w/DJ
individuals will be upgraded and compensated based upon their appearance in the final edit.
car use will be compensated separately in cash...amount TBD.

Also...please inquire within the So-Cal Lancers anyone who may be interested in volunteering their car for the drifting event...to be driven by Rhys Millen; we would provide the necessary insurance. Anyone interested should submit a photgraph via email to me by Wed. noon. thanks

And...also looking for cars that have LCD monitors within interior of car to show movies or playstation, etc....a few cars with great interiors will be shown.

because all the performance shops are on the Westcoast.

Another bump for you guys. Hope all goes well. If the commercial's aired, it's gonna be badass.

 

Its funny that all the performance shops are on the west coast, and the west coast has the toughest emissions testing around... they really need to move some of them to the East Coast so we can tear *** without paying an arm and a leg to get it, plus our standards are way lower!!!

 

But it's so easy to "get" a passing emmisions test in CA!!

 

Lucky for me I know the guy at the garage I go to for inspections, I could probably take off both the cats on my car and still somehow pass emissions... gotta love connections!

 

Im telling you and Rob, Indiana has NO emission laws. That means ya ddont want cats, then dont run them. Its cool, because if a cop isnt going to stop a loud *** Dodge Ram with straight pipes, hes not going to even blink at a Lancer, lol.

At any rate, congrats Rob on getting the shoot at RRM. Any idea when this commercial will see the light of day???

 

Any members forum/SCLC who plan to participate on Sunday should come to ROAD RACE this SATURDAY around 11-12 AM to hang,discuss and help Rob out.

 

I would say around the release of 2fast 2furious... but could be a little later. Post production and all...
