Attention: BBQ gathering with friends
Date: April 12th, 2003
Time: 11:00 a.m. until Whenever
Where: Maidu Park in Roseville

We have been getting harrassed as of late at the local car meets. So we are trying to throw a gathering of car enthusiats and friends to have a BBQ and hang out. We will be inviting people from all message boards including (3si.com, Machv.com, DSMTuners.com, RX-7 club, 300ZX club, Lexus club, Lancer Club, Supra club, oh yeah and those damn Subarus. Food will be served hopefully around noonish. Including, Hamburgers, hotdogs, tri-tip, and chicken. There are basketball hoops so feel free to hoop it up. A stereo for music entertainment. There are batting cages but they require you bring your own bats. Hoping for a good turn out. Everyone is more than welcome to bring friends. Directions to Maidu park:

Coming from north of Roseville: Take highway 65 to interstate 80 West. Get off on Douglas Blvd exit. Take a left at light, to go back across highway. Continue on Douglas until Rocky Ridge. Take a right onto Rocky Ridge. Then a left into Maidu Park about .7 of a mile down.

Coming from south of Roseville: Take interstate 80 East until u get to Douglas Blvd Exit. Continue on Douglas. Take a right onto Rocky Ridge. Take a left into Maidu Park.

 

How many responses do you have thus far?

 

A pretty good number of people are going to attend.

And it does'nt matter what kind of car you drive, as long as your cool. So come on by and bring your friends...the more the merrier.

Damn man why you gotta choose the same day as Picnic day in Davis? hahah I am driving up from So cal to davis but can't make it. Anyplans for something on sunday?

well it is time to bump this back to the top i also wanted to say this BBQ is not oficialy sponsered by anybody a couple of local guys got tiered of just hangin out at the in-n-out on saterday nights so they but this together so if you are coming please post on the omega-13 fourms and let them know if you can bring somthing with you because they are buying all the food out of there own pokets. thank you

 

ok this BBQ is still on as of now but if it rains we will try to relocat somewhere dry i will keep everyone updated

John... it's gonbna be really difficult for me to do this before CAL SLAM Stage II. Why not wait until we've got some great weather going. Then Jeff and I will bring the kids and we'll have one heck of a good time.

 

hey stew not to be mean but the BBQ's have nothing to do with calslam or evolutionm.net. it is just a bunch of peeps that love cars geeting togeather in the day insted of at night like we normaly do. we will try to do them once a mounth . if you can make it cool if you cant cool we just want to hang and eat some good food and i cant wait to see pics from calslam i hope you have a huge turn out
