Just confirmed this with James.....i am posting this for him since he doesn't have access to the web right now....

On normal days, 3 Pulls on the Dyno will be $125 (no tuning will be allowed)
Tuning Rate (for ECU Flash tuning *not for standalones, SAFCs, etc.*) The rate is $375 for Evo 8's and $450 for Evo 9's
Note: If the custom flash exceeds 2 hours of dyno tuning it will be an additional $200 an hour.
Prices will be discussed over the phone for anything else as of now.

Those rates seem a bit high. Most tuning shops I have gone to charge $150/hour for dyno tuning.
For reference, AMS charges $395 for an initial tune via EcuFlash, and it doesn't matter if it takes one hour or five. Subsequent tunes are $225. They also charge $75 for 3 dyno pulls.
While that is true about how much AMS charges u also have to look at the area....cost of living, expenses, utilites, etc could drive prices up and down.....for example, TT charges $500 for an Evo 9 custom flash....just food for thought....
Agreed. However, Reese needs to be careful that he doesn't price himself out of the market. Having just opened his business, I am sure he has a lot of expenses and is trying to generate revenue, but the approach of charging a little bit less for his services and having more customers often leads to better profits in this industry.
Please do not mis-understand what I am trying to say about your prices. I am by no means trying to state that your prices are way too much and that you are trying to rip people off. That obviously isn't the case here. I am simply trying to give some advice about your pricing schema. Another way to look at your pricing is that you start off a little bit lower, build a stable clientele, and gradually increase your prices.
There are various business models that you can employ. I wish you the best of luck with your new business and look forward to visiting your shop.
Justin
James, I look forward to being there for Dyno Day!
I'm glad to finally have a legit shop right here in SD, without having to be forced to drive over an hour just to get a good Evo shop (Not that I've had to, thanks to Alan...)
IMO I'd rather pay a bit more HERE, than drive all that way just to pay a little less. In the end it evens out I'd say
