San Diego Evo's

Going back to the OEM ECU will require some OEM parts I don't have and would need to obtain. Then I'd need a road tune. So, this will take some planning.
no problem, I have a lot of stock parts, let me know what you need... I'm sure Reese Tuning can set you up with a flash
Don't know anything about that specific MR, but an IX MR with ~24k miles books out at ~$29,500 if it is in excellent condition, and chances are it is simply in good condition so figure ~$27,500. I myself would have a hard time buying a used Evo because chances are its seen a lot of spirited driving. Also, if it has any sort of mods, you have to question the quality of both the parts and installation. With the economy in its current state, and if your friend has good credit, he will have a good amount of purchasing power and should be able to get it for $26-27,000 if he is willing to roll the dice on a used Evo.
hi guys , i will move to San diego next year in March , just wondering what i need to do for my car . Do i have to put stock cat or stock catback stock cams or anything i need to do before i go there . Nedd help guys any Recommend ? big thanks guys
No need, you can take your chances here the same as any other place. I've been running around Catless for two years now and Cams will be installed and re-tuned on E85 in Feb. It really comes down to how you drive around on public streets.
damn, it seems like we are all moving. Ill be moving to japan in march, but there is still a good chance the orders might get cancelled cause my wife just got diagnosed with cancer and just got out of surgery. Im trying to either stay in san diego or head to hawaii.
also, thanks for the info on the evo. I know that if my bro doesnt get approved for the loan, then ill get it
but there is still a guy in AZ that i wanted to buy his car i just cant find a way to get out there or convince my wife to let me.
