I keep lagging on getting my Cosworth M2 cams installed due to trying to decide which valve springs and retainers to go with. Any suggestions? I want something that will allow me to rev up to 10k on a stock frame turbo that can actually make power up there. Soon...E85 here I come!

10k on a stock frame turbo....umm...yeah....thats not gonna work out to good...

Will you have a bottom end built for 10k?

Anywho....if you want to rev that high get the SuperTech High Tension Dual Springs with the Titanium retainers....make sure you get the valve stem seals that go along with that too unless you wanna smoke like an old diesel.

Good luck Alain! Andrea and I are getting ready to purchase a clutch kit capable of supporting over 500ft-lbs, a EPM 02 dump, and Forge actuator. With these mods we will head back to the dyno and have her tuned to 30psi. Our goal is to make at least 450awhp/450ft-lbs on E-85!

Valve springs and retainers alone won't allow you to rev up to 10k on any type of turbo setup. Like Alain mentioned, you are going to have to build your bottom end as well if you have any desired to rev that high.

Thanks guys! I will make sure to get the valve stem seals as well. I didn't know the bottom end had to be built also... what entails making a built 2.0 bottom end? If it's too much trouble and money I will just stick with a near stock redline of 8k and keep using the stock valve springs/retainers. I have a feeling from alan's comment that even an FP Red won't make that much power near 8k anyways so there really is no reason to rev any higher.

At the very least aftermarket pistons, rods and ARP rod bolts. You can get a BR Stage 3 block for $3k. Very good deal and good for ~900hp (according to their website).

Saw a silver evo with black wheels going down fourth I believe on Tuesday. Coming out of the navy base. I was on business out there and was of course "evo spotting."

I have a Evo IX Momo steering wheel for sale. Perfect condition and airbag still intact. Any takers before I put it up in the general forum?
