Good Evo Shop in Bay Area?

I just bought a 2006 MR and I live in Sunnyvale California (Bay Area). Planning ahead eventually when I need clutch, brakes, timing belt, etc. anybody know of a good reputable mechanic/shop that does good work on and knows Evos? (ie. like if I get the clutch replaced they'll be knowledgable enough to put the o-ring back on between the trans and tc).

Thanks in advance

SpeedElement! Just moved out to Reno, NV and im gonna be having them do all my tuning. Also check out NorCalEvo.net. The owners of SpeedElement check that site regularly and are very responsive.

Thanks for the replies, Speed Element looks like exactly what I was looking for. A shop who can handle my Evo's basic maintenance + any mods I may want to install.

Cool, I'll be interested in how it turns out.

My little evo is pretty much stock now but I'm slowly working out what mods I want to do to her.

I was wondering if high-flow cats or performance tunes would effect passing smog?

How's Vishnu Performance? I see they have an install shop in Union City. Their 3" full exhaust looks good.

We now have 2 shops, one in San Rafael and one at Infineon raceway in Sonoma. EVOs are our bread and butter. We have an all wheel drive dyno, laser alignment rack, and a host of other fabrication and repair facilities.

Check out our website or just stop by to check out the shop.

Thanks for the reply, your site looks interesting as well as your performance packages. Kind of a drive from Sunnyvale, but I may check your shop out.

Thanks!

if you want a great product made in house, and have alot of $$$ to spend to ensure a quality part that wont destroy your car go to works, if you want a built motor and a crazy big turbo kit go to EIP, full function, gst, speed element and fiaevo. if your in norcal take advantage of being close to works, its a great shop, that makes alot of parts in house, they are connected with a dealership to, pretty cool imo. and get on norcalevo.net to get better reviews of what each shop is about.
