And were you at DubWars 2003? If so, I was the gray Lancer running around the race track. Shelma and Justin (if you know them from VW and Audi forums) told me about the event when we worked at the Rim of the World Rally together.

 

you make a good point, i just posted it to give people an idea of what the run contains, and i figured that i doubt the authorities are checking Evo sites. They're probally more focused on whats posted in honda-tech.com lol

it is but other cars are invited to the come, like the Evos, the STis, the S2ks, the 350Z the supras and such. its a all around fun event for everyone

 

Yeah, if the german car owners let me play with them at Buttonwillow, I'm sure they're open to playing in the streets, too. They were very friendly, and I made quite a few friends, sharing ice boxes, shade, helmets, shade...

I just figured there were hundreds and hundreds of VWs up there that weekend, if you are a leader, one who helps organize events, you're probably active enough to have been there, too. Now don't think I'm psychic if I say your car is silver, because I swear there must have been 10 silver GTIs on the track that day, and a hundred more running around the streets. I should have waited another year and got the AWD GTI Anyway, I'll see if I can make it, and I'll see if Shelma and Justin wanna come. Shelma has the dark blue 4door GTI, and Justin has a black Audi.
