Sup Phoenix AZ,
I'll be moving here shortly from the east coast. I have an 2003 Evo 8, slightly modded with the normal bolt ons. Normal daily driver and havent seen the track yet.
Quick question - how are the emissions inspections here in AZ? I have a test pipe off the 3" dp and 3" exhaust. Just wondering if there is anything I need to be concerned about and if I'll run into any problems. If so, I figured I'll try to get them "fixed" before heading down here.
Using the CEL eliminator and dont have a CEL at the moment.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Im down in Tucson but i have rod / main bearing issues to deal with

Dont I know it. I got 23 psi over the weekend but I think I got boost leaks now. I cant get the fuel dialed in. Rich..then lean. Some knock in the upper rpms. I blew a line off the manifold for a sensor and an IC pipe even though I have t-bolt clamps.
I only run 91 at the moment. Although I cal'd my knock sensor with some 110 leaded recently.
I know these cars suffer in the heat though. Seems like most guys running good 1/4 times and hp #'s that have similar mods to me all run a larger FMIC and piping (which I dont have) If that VIII turbo cant hold up...well I got a IX turbo sitting around that I bought before I left Vegas.

Just came back from my vacation. I must say, you folks have a sweet state. Drove from Sedona to Phoenix before going back to LA, and yeah, it was a blast!
I missed seeing Pres. Obama! I was at the Grand Canyon last Saturday, but he went there on Sunday! Bah!!!

His motorcade went right by my office downtown...goodluck driving down here today...he was in and out of the conventions center in about a hour..we can see the route perfectly. 15 plus car...and motorcycles

I just moved to Arizona, my baby (evo ix) has a nice place in my 3 car garage, finally it feels like home. I really need to tint my windows now, the sun doesnt bother me, but i need to protect my interior, anyone knows of a good tint shop around Goodyear?
