~New Arizona Thread~
Sup yall, I'll check back here every once and a while and as soon as someone gets a meet going and maybe some photo ops, count me in. I am out in the Surprise area and frequent the 91st and Northern thing on fridays. Last event I went to was the AZAWD event at Avondale Mitsu.
Firebird Raceway - June 26, 2009 *AZawd Shootout*
I get on here to lurk around quite often. I am copying and pasting this from AZAWD.org
Hopefully some Evo owners will show up to play!
The track has been slow and not many people showing up to it. I think it would be the perfect night to call each other out at the track and give it hell. Last Friday, there was only 8 cars and 3 bikes running. I was able to get 10 runs put in and that was with us chilling and watching the other cars go.
Yes, this is not enough notice for a lot of people but the longer we wait. The hotter it will get. Last Friday, temperatue was around mid 80s.
I also think this would be a great meeting spot if the Tucson guys want to roll up too. The drive would probably be an hour long to Firebird. (unless you are Javi, then 32 mins)
There will be a few of us there again this Friday so come join us if you got the ***** to do some shakedown passes.
Cost: $20 to race/ $10 to spectate
when: 6-12pm but we can meet up around 7-8 at the track so there's no traffic getting there and it will be much cooler temps

lets get this thread moving.
My internet conn is spotty....but I get on at least once a day.
How is everyones car running in this heat?
I had to remove a lot of fuel to get my afr's back to normal. Timing had to be pulled.
I just installed a GM 3 port BCS this morning. Now its time to turn up the wick. The motor has never seen more than 17 psi constant. This has been holding me back since I built the car in December.
Back in march or april I ran 12.99 @106 at Speedworld. Considering all the mods I have, that is slow. I think my boost was the issue.

I know some homies with a one of a kind streetable water to air setup. Prolly be ideal for the 100 degree + style.

Hit me up.
I only run 91 at the moment. Although I cal'd my knock sensor with some 110 leaded recently.
I know these cars suffer in the heat though. Seems like most guys running good 1/4 times and hp #'s that have similar mods to me all run a larger FMIC and piping (which I dont have) If that VIII turbo cant hold up...well I got a IX turbo sitting around that I bought before I left Vegas.
