I know the feeling..I lived in Tucson for 4 years..if anything was going on it was phoenix most of the time. So I'd have to drive up (120+ miles). Not alot of meets ever happened in Tucson unless I'm just not paying attention.

Thats why were trying to get things started here in phoenix. Hopefully get a bigger group.. We just have to see what happens..

All the Tucson chatter/activity happens originates from the AZAWD.org forum. There are weekly meets and I started a monthly cruise, driving some of the most fun, twisty roads in southern Arizona. We usually have the cruises every third Saturday of the month, but for Feb, we're having it on the 27th and we're driving out to Parker Canyon Lake. Theres an excellent cruise here in mesa if we want to start one...its windy, the road follows up the salt river

 

are you talking the 88 to tortilla flats? thats my canyon run and i love it! should organize a meet and run through there..... at the top is a nice spot to park and take pics

i hope the superstition mitsu meet gets big, i really like the idea.

 

been on that drive a couple of times and it's awesome, it was with a bunch of toyota guys though, It'd be fun to see more evos and mitsus

 

its an amazing drive! ive done it at night and day and i have to say night is better since you cant see the falls
when i went there was a few mr2's 3 or 4 gti's a bug...... my buddys ae86 and rx7 then me the lone mitsu.
it was lame cuz everyone was creaming themselfs over the gti's, to me its just another wagon. there almost as bad as hondas these days. lets hear it for a turbo no bigger than my fist
