I've been going to a few meets here, some actually get shut down because ricers show up too and start doing stupid stuff in the parking lot and the police show up and everyone gets kicked out

 

Hey guys come fall I'll be down in Arizona for college. Don't know if I will bring my evo though. Don't know if University of Arizona allows freshman to bring their cars even.

You can bring your EVO in tucson its just parking in Tucson UofA is . Pretty expensive too and not alot of lots down there. Great school by the way!! Go Wildcats!

There is an empty lot area on Northern behind the Car Wash off the 101 near the Kohls/Target shopping center...i see guys meeting up there all the time...old and new (cars). Again...not sure if this has been shut down either by cops or anything??

There are meets every Friday night around 8:00 or 9:00 on the NW corner of 91st Ave and Northern. They have sectioned off areas for ppl who pay to show their cars, but there are several rows next to them of just groups of ppl showing off their cars and hanging out. They have all kinds of cars too, not just classics or ricers. Been there a few times and it's pretty laid back. You should check it out if it's still running.

 

I was thinking possible the Superstition Springs mall or the San Tan mall?

 

Anywhere is cool I guess as long as we aren't hasseled about it...

loitering..

 

Some parts of Tucson have "Cruising" and "Loitering" laws specifically to prevent/disallow groups of cars running up/down the Blvds - implying that all groups of cars just cruise and street race. I also heard a few years ago that some parking lots were off-limits to "associated gatherings" of cars during certain hours.

Since I don't spend much night-time hours in parking lots, I have no idea where any limitations/restrictions may be. But I do know someone that does. I will inquire.

 

Well I say we give it a shot, worst case senario, they will send us away, so lets just have car meet, possibilty at the superstition springs mall, the parking alot across from the bestwestern? Any ideas time and date?
