I saw his EVO again tonight at the Irvine Spectrum, pretty damn nice looking. I saw it a couple of nights ago but didn't know it was his until I met him tonight when I shouted out that he had a nice car. He told me that he has a Turbo Timer, new exhaust, and a couple of other things on it and that he can probably run low 13's or high 12's on 1/4 mile.

He was pretty chill and we just started talking about the EVO, while my friends stared in confusion as to what we were talking about. He even asked if I wanted to check it out, but I declined. I don't know what I was thinking, haha.

Coolguy949: If you're reading this I hope my friends and I can take a ride in your EVO next time we see you there again.

 

Huh, we (me in my Apex Silver and Coolguy) were there earlier too, around 6:40pm so I could get my CF decal... did you see him afterwards at the Spectrum again?

Yea, he told me that earlier tonight he met up with another EVO owner about a decal, which must be you. He just came back later to the Spectrum to chill. I just remember seeing an EVO, and I was like OMG I have to meet that guy. Then I saw him pulling up close to our parking spot, which was like in Jamaica, and we just started discussing some things about cars.

 

first rule of turbo timers.... NEVER STOP THE CAR IN GEAR... bad things happen. especially in a parking lot.

Yea, that'll be chill but not that many of my friends have an actual understanding of cars except for a select few.

Can we actually ride in the EVO, or will we have to try and keep up 10 cars behind you with either a crashed 1994 Camry, a 1987 Jetta, or a 1990 240SX??? (Main cars I cruise in) Well, the 240 will get an SR20 swap soon enough!

 

Not only is he stock, he's a SLOW stock one too!!

 

Gotta watchout for those 240s/Silvias, those things would be really bad on canyon runs because of the way the rear ends like to kick out.

 

Yep, RWD drifter. Not exactly a good handling car, but my friend is really into drifting and maybe improving on a 1/4 mile track.
