hehe, actually I'll proly take it pretty easy tonight. Seriously. I feel like **** right now. Just got back from coffee, and it just hit me like a ton of bricks. That chicken parm sandwich I had for lunch today tore me up something wicked! But I don't think I've ever felt bad enough to pass up a canyon run. Tonight will be more for logging mileage/routes for the september meet (if we decide to have it in malibu). It looks a little foggy out here right now, so it might be a little hairy up there, we'll see!
Hehe, next time then!! I'll prolly go again tomorrow, if not deffinately thursday night. Hey Dino, you should make the drive up from OC one of these nights to run with me! It's insane during the day, but at night it's beyond words!! Of course I keep it at semi-sane levels at night because visibility is next to nothing about half way down latigo, but it is crazy when there's reflectors in the road. It's like an airport runway!

Spirited driving is an everyday thing for me~!. It'd be nice to drive in the same way with nice evos around me~. So the 7th it is. Jus' need to know the meeting place and the time~

I've never driven stunt at night, that's one I planned on doing tonight as well as yerba, but I'll have to wait and see what the conditions are like when I get up there.

Wow! Wasn't foggy at all! I was soooo tempted to do a little exploring, but I ran my normal route: Las flores--Piuma--Mullholland--Latigo. When I got to stunt I swear the car wanted to turn right, but I opted for piuma instead. I know, I know I'm a *****!! Anyway, after Latigo I decided not to head up to Yerba because 1, it seems that the Advans may be on the way out (there's a little kick in them still though) and 2, brakes didn't feel too good. I was picking up a little vibration in the pedal and some fade. I think I might be ready for a rotor upgrade and deffinately some new pads. Just some more money to put into the ride, *sigh* But that's what the canyons are for...testing for the track!! For me anyway, hehe. Who's coming along next time?
You know what bro, I think latigo just might be, dare I say it, easier at night? Reason: you tend not to take the decreasing radius turns (which basically sums up nearly every turn on that bastard) for granted. I actually haven't got the car too out of shape yet. But the key, as you well know, is keeping the revs up through the corners, which takes some serious stones at night, especially if you tend towards trail braking like you do Jeff. One piece of advice from a novice like me: just forget about the outside of the turns at night, once you choose your line STAY WITH IT and keep your foot on the gas with your eyes completely plastered on the inside.
