you have the blacked out tail lights and tints i saw and heard ur car at the venice evo meet.

 

The S2 is actually pretty good - it's saved me from some other tickets in the past. This time though, I was doing (according to the cop) about 68mph in 2nd or 3rd with the windows down and I didn't really register that the thing was going off. When I did, I immediately thought 'What the heck would set it off way back here'. A split second later, I saw the cop and realized the canyon run just got a bit longer.

It sucked at the time, but I figure I'll just deal with it. Maybe somebody here can get me a good deal on a bus pass . The run was still a blast, and I'd do it again in a heartbeat. Maybe next time though, I won't volunteer to run shotgun. Besides, running in the back has the added advantage of seeing 14 EVOs stretched out, carving across the hillside - a pretty cool sight to see!!

ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS fight your tickets!!! I just had 3 tix in less than 2 mos. Fought them all, 3 court cases with 3 different cops in 2 days, WON them ALL! 2 were speeding, 1 was illegal U-turn.

HAHAAHA!! Cool ****e you guys!! You all rock!! I had to special order my tires because they were made specifically for porsche club racing. You can only get them through normal channels if you have an affiliation with a porsche owners group, or if you have internet access and get on tire rack...LOL No seriously, Michelin wouldn't let me order them, I tried at least a dozen tire dealers, and had to suck it up on tire rack. I should get them by thursday, maybe wednesday. R compound tires on the street...am I insane? Do I really need an excuse to drive faster in the canyons? we should squash the talk about the ticket though, they actually do get curious and go looking to see who the hell those 15 EVO's were, if only out of curiosity. Thanks for all the support guys. BTW the only thing cooler than catching up to that long line of EVO's waiting for the ticket bait was driving past SEVERAL smaller groups of EVO's along PCH waiting for my 3 wheelin' pimp mobile. Normal traffic must have been ****ting...I was hehe. Leading you guys off PCH onto Ocean on a donut was CLASSIC!

 

well its too bad I couldn't be part of the meet yesterday, especially since you all were in my territory up there, but my dad and I were on a tight schedule and had to keep going. At least I ran into the convoy when I did so I could get that camera off of Rich's hood before the cop saw it! Who knows what kind of stupid ticket that would've gotten you. And I passed you all again on PCH during the tire-change (would've stopped but you looked like you had plenty of help)... Rich, damn dude, you can't BUY a f**kin break!! Anyway, I'll be rejoining you guys at the next meet for sure.
