Also, i do have a gsr non se evo9! Which lip does he have? If he has the se-mr then he has to remove or modify the anti-lift kit. Its this plastic stuff thats atached to the lip and undertray. Has to be removed! If you have a mr se......then you need a different lip like rhe pic above! You will also have to remove the anti-lift kit, as you have to buy different brackets for the new lip
Do a search for anti-lift kit and you will see pics of what i am talking about. I might be able to show you with mine and yours sometime what the difference is. My voltex lip jist covers my stock lip. I never took it off!

I don't mind ordering whatever lip I need to work with the chargespeed. I just wanted to verify the right one so that I didn't end up with a pile of OEM lips in my garage, due to trial and error lol. But between all the good info you guys have thrown out, it seems like the GSR and RS lips are what are needed, or the MR lip with some modification. Once again, thnx for the help
k, so I've started working on cleaning up my engine bay. I've had my heat shield off for years and decided to clean it up and put it back on. Had a friend strip off all the black finish on his, polished it and coated before reenstalling. I got some acotene and been working on it...got most of it off. Does anyone have any ideas what I can use to get the rest of it off and cleaned up before prepping. I'm guessing since it rusts pretty easy that its going to have to be something that prevents rust and can withstand heat...any ideas? Crazy idea, havent decided if I would paint it a different color for the bay.
