Anybody know off the top if their head of AMS offers e-mail tuning? I wanna pick up some more pretty minor parts and just do a touch up to my tune from last week. I'll email Chris later...

 

Last time I checked they didnt offer email flashes on their website when I was searching for a email flash tuner but I may be wrong. Can you post what Chris says it would be pretty sick if they do

What up fellows? Been a while since my last post.

There was a lot of evos over at RAD's. I was a little surprise with my numbers, made 300hp with 310tq. I guess the trans has something to do with it. I thought I was going to make something like 330 to 350. I couldn't get my stock numbers because of the boost pill install so I don't know how much I increase by. But the car is pulling hard and smooth. Since my tune I have to turn off my ASC if I am going to floor it from a stop.

I dont know if any of you guys felt the ASC come on, but I was like wtf when it started jerking. With the ASC off my 0-to 60 is crazy now. My goal is 400hp, so I guess I am going to drop a BBX turbo in it.

How do you guys deal with the sky-high shipping charges for parts? I'm trying to pick up a decent set of used wheels and I keep getting quoted for $100+ shipping PER WHEEL. Yikes. Want to change my intercooler too but for sure that's gonna be another arm+leg to get here. Do you guys buy most of your parts down here? If so, where at?

 

i get almost all my parts from vendors off the internet. just try to get them to come down on the prices since shipping is so god damn expensive.

I'm a new evo owner.

 

So, i got back to the island on thurs. Went to check on the evo in storage on fri and found out that it has a massive fuel leak, has no fuel whatsoever in it, and the bumper is chipped, broken, and beaten. so... fixed the leak, go more gas in it, and now just sobbing because of the bumper. only here for 2 weeks, want to do stuff to the evo, but dont have much time. if any one wants to do anything... let me know
