the clutter sound from your clutch depending on which one you have, is just clutch chatter... if you have a wideband, watch the AFR before your car dies.... i am guessing that youre either going way too rich or lean and stalling out... it happened to me back in the day... LMK if that works... PM me if you have questions, i am sure i can help you fix it..

I can see it running way too lean when I start the car (17-19). It doesn't really die now though since I raised the target idle.. But, I think I just put a bandaid on a severed limb.. The annoying thing about the clutch chatter is it just showed up when I got the car from the shippers here in hawaii.

they probably beat the hell out of your car... which is why i valet the map for bboy so they couldnt speed. rev, or anything lol... only drive normally... your car is super lean on warm up... you should look into that.. you may have a vacuum line off, or your tune needs to be adjusted... i would do all of the tests as well... boost leak, compression, etc...

Is there a mechanic you'd recommend for the checks? I'm getting tired of wrenching on this to no avail.. Something I noticed today is that the old problem of stalling when I throw it in neutral or clutch it to a stop sign is gone if I loosen My diverter valve a bit... I don't know if that's telling me there's something wrong with my DV or just something wrong with my boost/vacuum system in general... The start up idle problem is still there as well as the problems going into boost/load.

no. just take really good care of her and wash her frequently. theres no worries. only thing you may want to invest in now, is an extra layer of clear cloat for your wing and possibly your car.

Nope no tickets for that. i know a few evos that have though. Theft is just crazy here. someone always taking something. I know of 2 evos stolen, and 1 broken into. Besides that, have a good place to park it. No one has messed with mine since i got it.(knock on wood)

yah, i figured theft would be an issue. thats why i would find a house with a closed garage to keep her safe. i figure a fuel cutoff switch wont hurt either

garage is a must!! but you will always have the theft issue. Also, the salt aint bad if you keep good care of the car.

as for an update on my car... IT LIVES!!! running well! once i get some miles on it, a ported throttle body, ported intake, and intercooler and piping are on the way. after deployment, HTA35R kit is gettin thrown in. oooh, cant wait!

why so small turbo? I am glad to hear the damn thing runs finally. It has been a long while, but in the end, look at how much you've learned about your own car. Im happy for you man. ****ty that I wasnt there.
