I live up in wahiawa and was told that the gas at the NEX really sucks (knocks alot) which will suck to have to pay for gas out in town since its 17 cents cheaper on base.
I plan on getting like 5 gal of the 100 oct to tune a map for autocross
yha ive been busy here at work we are still out here at sea. Just cant wait to go to hawaii.
oh yha i also got a little build before my car gets to hawaii. Im getting the BBK-B.
Question what kind of fuel does hawaii have? trying to get information for my tuner so he know what to tune for. I heard there is 100 octane over there but is that the only one that hawaii has to offer? thanks
we have the lowest of the low 92 Oct. there is only 1 place on island with 100. ($10) per gallon, and its all the way down town. So if you live in Kbay/waikele/ewa beach, its prob not worth the drive for it. Be out of a quarter tank or more before you get back.

what do they normally look for when they pull you over for recon. I've seen cars slammed with alot of negative camber and I dont see any recon stickers on their cars.
I've been concerned about getting mine done because I've heard that its so hard to get the appointment. How many of you have your cars reconed. pm me is fine.

just to clarify for everyone if a cop asks you about wheels for recon.. they were taken off this year. only a drop would be considered recon in this case. cops mainly look for the tire size. everytime one pulls me over i tell them my tire size and tell them its stock and even if you were dropped most of them cant tell. unless.. you have barely any tire fender gap.
and there is no recon for exhaust or engine modification. Unless you have a miata with a LS1 or something like that. Exhaust is based out the noise, if they think its to loud. you got a ticket.
