U guys like the abuse in Vegas. Be prepared for a John like reflash back below stock like performance. Can u hang with Joe? NOT! BTW Did u feel any power gains at all or is Joes car just tuned better?

With the 720s ,-20 setting should be around stock but one person has had to go as high as +15 to smoothen the idle and get rid of the codes. Doesnt really make sense. Weve seen around 290-330 whp on the afc on your basic mods on 91 octane. The higher end is with cams.
Gofaster87 the EMS is great, do not hear me wrong but are you able to have a consistent reliable tune with it or are you always requiring Dr. Gray to do lil tweaks here and there depending on changes in environmental conditions. As far as the AFC vs. Xedes debate I believe they both get the job done but with a turbo upgrade the timing control of the Xedes can induce a better smoother tune. BTW John is against the AFC but I feel it is a good cheap tuning tool that works great.
The Xede uses the stock maf and I am at 494 whp on Vp 109 and over 450 whp on 100 octane; so that is enough proof that 500 whp can be safely achieved with a piggyback. FWIW That stroker kit Evo of GT Motorsports(same turbo 3037) with the Ems, ported head, basically fully built and everything on the planet for mods was only putting out 507 whp on c-16 the week my car put out 494 whp. I heard that recently Dr. Gray got 527 whp on the latest session. Also when all these EMS guys track their cars it seems that Dr. Gray is on hand to do lil tweaks to ensure that their cars are runnin optimal. The stroked car trapped 122 mph(same as mine) at the same dragstrip the next night but IMO it appeared to have a better power band from lookin at the slip and his 1/8 mile trapspeed. Extra displacement and raised rev limiter is a lil advantage. Stroked built motors have their advantages.
As far as John is concerned he can keep his MBC if he wants and use it with the xedes. Some wonder if a MBC can hold boost till redline a lil longer than the xedes but I think that is moot point at this stage. With proper tuning the xedes has proven itself to make good reliable power and it is not a PITA like the AEM EMS. Can u make more Whp with an EMS? In some instances I am sure you can but when you do is the reliability unadulterated? Xede uses the ECUs ability to pull timing and impede knock events to save the engine i do not believe that the EMS is as capable of saving ur Engines Azz when needed.

Hey IE if I got the SAFC could you help me tune it? This would be over the current dynoflash. I could always go back to stock, but I don't think I want to go that route unless the SAFC gives me problems.

I can't tune a turd coming out of my rectum Bra. Tuning Tech has a hard time tuning on top of dynoflashed cars but they can and will do there best. Also beware getting that po300 fix has in the past made ur ECU unflashable w/o serious problems. I have no idea what the current status is on this but I will look into it.

cool thanks. so your saying tt has a hard time going over my dynoflash with the safc, but if i got the po300 fix i may not be able to get another flash of any kind? so i may be stuck with a stock ecu and not even be able to use a safc or do you mean just a flash?

I just got the po300 reflash and Al falshed over it, but made some interesting comments when looking at my ECU map . So you can get a falsh over a po300 reflash (there's a thread about it.) As for the rest, made I am a little in to S&M, but I don't regret getting my car Dynoflashed. Like I said before now I know about and can talk about it first hand, instead of what a lot of other people do on the forum

they should be able to tune with AFC with the p0300 fix and as Will stated things probably have changed as far as flashing on top of the fix. So yes AFC is doable period but as far as raising the Rev limiter and removing boost cut I do not know.
