Las Vegas Evo's
alright, PM'ed Al I didn't mean to **** him off. Please note for the record that I was satisfied with my experience with Al and his company. Due to extenuating circumstances, like my UR setup having a messed up O2 bung, it complicated the situation. I would still recommend DF to anyone.

BTW - the lack of bung was not an issue as the 02 sesnor stayed on your exhuast - sometimes depending on rear tips the vise crip clamp method will not work but in your case it was working well

Its a very rare situation but can be resolved either by sending the ecu back to me or going to the dealr to have the 0300 code re-installed.
On a side note - the 0300 code flash has just been REVISED as there is a new variatnt which means there are 3 seperate factory flash versions for 2003 and 2004 - all of which are NOT interchangeable.
Not a big issue - just something to keep in mind.

The only thing I can think of is the stroked motor is being held back by the 3037 because others have had well over 600 to 650whp on a gt35r stroked motor. The problem with most ems cars are the owners. They keep changing parts out or wanting to try something new and that brings gray into the picture. He has to always retune based on these new additions. I installed everything at once tuned it once on the street and a dyno tune and it was done. There is always something new that can be added with the ems. I plan on having him tune it once again for a more aggressive tune since I am pretty conservative now. Piggy backs are great but I dont think they allow for full potential at high power levels. Reliability is also a concern; I can run my car on a roadrace track all day and not sweat it. Drag tunes are a different story. The ems is great becasue of it features and logging capability as well, a two step limiter that allows you to keep your foot mashed on the pedal and shift is a nice option same with the antilag feature. By the way my tune is on a stock head and tb which is amazing in itself becasue of the power we have pulled out of it..
Yes the stroked motor is likely held back from the 3037r being maxed out or close. The other stroker Evo with the 35 r was making 580 whp plus from what they told me at Fontana. He only trapped 122 mph also but that was on conservative boost. His last run was aborted due to his launch control stalled the car from what it looked like. However, once he got on it he was flying and looked to have high 120+ trapspeeds potential.
The other EMS car with the a 25g/60-1 with a fully built motor trapped a best of 125 mph and did a 11.8 et at Fontana. He had a lil over 500 to the wheels also.
So after comparing my cars performance verses the EMS equiped cars I am quite happy with my Xede. I am not ready to extract much more power with the stock block but that day will come and we will see if the Xede can handle 550+ whp with the stock Maf. If it can't I will have to make the change. BTW I was there when Shiv's car put out 560 whp on XS Dyno. One thing to note the car dynoed with about 4 gallons of 91 and 4 gallons of c-16. With all c-16 the car definitely had more in it. Proof that the xede is capable of big power.
