Jesse, I am sorry to hear about your misfortune. I think Vegas Evos are simply doomed.
Maybe we should trade ours in for a couple of beaters.

Add these two problems to the broken tach, the dented body/hood and the dead brakes and you come up with PROJECT GARAGE EVO.

So, boys and girls, this Evo is officially in the pits until ALL problems are fixed. If that means a week or six months, so be it. It will come out when my hood/bumper are here for fitment. Then it's going back in the garage.
It will come out again after that when I can afford to fix the tires, diff, tach, brakes.

F UCKING CAR.

Sorry about the misfortune with the car man. Sucks. I had my rear tire blow out in July right before the tune. Luckily it was covered under warranty, but since all the tires had 13,000 miles on them, I had to get 3 other new ones. Now I got a $900 discount tire credit card to pay off.

Hey, does the Discount Tire Warranty Program cover blown tires?
I paid for the program when I bought my tires. Thanks for saying something. I think might be able to get it replaced free of charge!

Hopefully that is one fire put out.

I still don't know what to do about the diff and the tach.

Yeah, they found a hunk of metal in the tire. It was long enough to pierce through the right center of the tire and towards the sidewall. All I had to do was pay the $50 and got a new one for free. The $50 was the insurance I got from them. Its $50 a tire and the tire gets replaced for free. Well worth it, if you keep the stock tires like me at $248 a pop. The diff, maybe its a bad gasket or something simple. Loose bolts.... or could it have been all that drifting you did. I guess if its not whining or making funky noises you should be good, as long as you keep the fluid topped off.

The tach... if you really need one then yeah, but if you can get by without one until you can afford it, I say so be it.

for real we do have some sh*tty *** luck wit ours cars. but i blame our bad luck on vegas's sh*tty *** roads for some of our problems. but before u go thinking something really f*cked up is wrong wit ur diff. ask some questions on evom about it. it might just be a loose gasket or something easy to fix. plus im sure the diff is covered under warranty from mitsu. thats is u didnt go over the mileage. and like i said before about ur tach, talk to corey first before u do anything. it probably something simple he can help u wit

hey alex, did u pick up a safc while u were down there

Whoa calm down. Wait until word gets out that this place is good and you should be seeing better tips no problem. That pest control place is on craig and pecos. Across from the pilot near the I-15 exit.
