I got about 18,000 out of mine.

 

at 16,500 with maybe 3-4 2step launches

 

Monita (my wife)got 10k out of hers. But she ran it probley at least 25 times at the track before it went poop.

 

BTW, hows come nobody goes to the meets anymore?

 

My stock clutch lasted close to three years and the majority of the driving was city. I forgot how many miles it was, probably close to 18,000 but not really sure. The only time I really drove the car hard was at the track.

 

I've been wondering the same thing lately too. The past couple weeks I drove by and no one was there so I kept on going. Hopefully we can revive the meets again.

 

I might go to next weeks then after softball. Jesse I want to see the throttle hang your talking about. I'll be putting my cosi's in soon too, theyre sittin in the garage burning a hole in a box. So I want to see what yours does then see if I can duplicate it after cam install. It might be something to do with those. Mine doesnt really hang now, just goes down slow.

Your having problems with Throttle hang IE when your on it hard, and you get off, the RPMS stay up? I had this problem with my Comp280s, and when I added a little more fuel to the Vaccum/low boost side, it went away..

 

Since the evo's havent been parking there in like a month. That spot has been taken by some real shat box ricers. There are going to ruin it like over by the del taco. Burn outs, throwing trash around......so the few evo's been parking with the subies as not to look like they are associated with the trash.

just wanted to say hi to everyone, and that i just bought a used 03 evo8 rally red. i was hoping i can meet up with some of you. also is it common for the engine to vibrate a lot when at idle?

 

What load/rpm? You talking like around 100-150 loads in spool up/peak torque areas like 3500-5000? Need more specifics hehe. Added more fuel as in raised AFRS a couple points? What were they before/after? Sorry Gabe I know, jeopardy and all hehe. But would like to find out, I think I might have same issue when I put mine in. I like spooling the car lean for fast spool up.

 

Im there next one. Have a few more parts Im throwing on the car then she'll be ready for some conedodgin.

It happens when I'm barely on the throttle and shifting around 3500-4000 rpms. It was doing this when all I had on the car was exhaust and boost controller.
