The tune is with the SAFC II. Cost is gonna be $100 for the tune, no matter how long it takes, and $125 an hour for the dyno time. So total $225. But this is going down the last day of Nov and the first day of Dec.
Alfred from Tuning Technologies is driving up from Cali for the tune.

The first pic was in the morning before the exercise started and the second was when we took cover for the first time. I laid fiberglass matting down for the Rapid Runway Repair crew. Remember, I support the planes, not play in mud like the grunts.
And by the end of the night, my uniform was filthy and soaked in sweat. Plus that helmet just got issued to us last week for my deployment to Iraq and the flak vest is new. I just got lucky and got all new equipment issued to me and not used dingy unserviceable equipment.

Thats not all the gear either. I wasnt carrying my rucksack or M-16. The chem gear was in the bag behind me.

Yeah, but I just threw that together for the exercise. Its almost good to go. I changed most of it around the last time I had training so I could do some manuevers better. I'm most likely gonna get rid of the LPE gear and just clip all the goodies onto the flak vest itself. I just got issued some new gear that I didn't even use for the exercise.

The only time I where the vest is for exercises. The rest of the time I where that damn LPE gear. So for the mean time its staying as is. I'll clip that s hit on the vest when I get in country. By the way, those new helmets are so comfortable. Foam padding everywhere and its velcroed so its easy to wash.
