FWIW remember back in the day u guys used to blame your s hiitttyyy times on the elevation and track. Well i guess i was right afterall when I told u guys your track was not that much slower than the Cali tracks and all u guys needed was some competent tuning.- I am glad u guys are finally running Evo like times in Vegas and congrats to all of the Evolved Evos in Vegas. Also, I agree if and when young Alex gets some injectors and is able to boost 24+ he might see 11s at 114-116 mph. The kid got a strong car and besides Corey's the Yellows are the Best/Fastest Evos ever. Also lil Alex u ran a 12.6 with a misshift? Looks as if u were headed for a 12.2 also. I remember back in the day gettin 12.6-12.9 with misshift on the stock turbo and it used to seem to always happen on my best launch. I know your pain. This is the way it is supposed to be low 12s on decent runs and still 12s on shiiitttyyy run. Before joe went two TT and broke the Myth that low 12s were impossible in Vegas on the stock turbo u guys would of never thought missing a shift and mid 12s were possible. i thought he was trying to say injectors add power. i read nothing about turning up boost, but i'm sure you are correct.

 

casey, injectors allow u to boost more w/o having to reflash your ECU to run more boost. Ecu is tricked when u put bigger injectors in and fuel cut does not result. more boost equals more power. I will let a technically more competent ape explain it to u but baically that is it. Sam u there to explain.

 

The fastest STI out there was a T67 running a 12.7.

Yeah my last run of the night was a 12.6 with a misshift. Well my best launch was a 1.685 60 and ran a 12.54.

We're gonna break the myth of having to run NOS or a turbo upgrade to run 11's in Vegas soon enough.

Track was prepped about the same and it was cold last night so the tires stayed hard.
