There's a few people who run that much, but don't expect the turbo to last too long. I ran 28-30 psi all the time with the alky.

 

I can show the logs from his wideband when I tuned it.

 

My bad, I meant to type 2.28 BAR..........do the math........carry the 2.........square root...........divided by.............and the answer is..................33.5 PSI!!!

 

Damn, didn't think a stock turbo would hold that much. Manny, yea, I'd like to see the logs. Thats def not anything a suby could do even with a big 16g.
Case in point. My 35r suby runs out of fuel at 29psi with a walbro 255. You have a upgraded pump I would guess.

Most ive heard on stock turbo is 28 or thereabouts. The problem is, its blowing REALLY hot air past 24 or so due to being way overworked at that point. IX turbo may go a tiny bit higher, but not much. You'll still gain some power, but your getting into the diminished gains territory. Normally 1psi = 11 hp general rule of thumb. Up there its probly like 1psi = 5hp or something. Who knows. If your sprayin meth on it to cool the combustion back down, it might not be too bad of a loss. Still time to upgrade the stocker, and like Jesse said, that suckers not gonna last long. You'll snap that wheel sooner or later, might as well upgrade the turbo sooner!

PS: Easy math, 1 bar = 14.4 psi. 1.5, half plus 1 = 7.2+14.4 = 21.6. 2bar = 28.8 and so on. Me and lee were talkin about it, if you know old tele modem speeds you can convert bar. 14.4 modem, slow as ****, is 1 bar. 28.8 modem is 2 bar. For when your drivin and dont have a calc handy hehe
