im kinda in this mood just to go big and not have to worry about my clutch dieing on me again. but not being able to drive my car is making me nuts. so i still got some time to think about what imma do. i gotta save up the money first, while still trying to take care of other bills too.

hey john why is the 272 overkill for ya. let me know. cuz these are the cams i wanna get. pm me or just reply here. and can someone tell me the difference between jun and hks cams???
the twin disc will hold & last a long time.only problem is that your are putting a bigger risk on your TC if you slip it the wrong way but that dosen't happen all the time.just around 1 of every 50 twin disc owner.carbon/carbon is big time.i don't think you'll need it if your not putting at least 450whp down

I'm sure all the "extra weight" he took out of the trunk will help.

Justin if you go with that cliutch you may not have to worry about needing a new clutch, but on the otherhand you will have to worry about other drivetrain issues. Much much worse ones. Check out the Works clutchs or go with the one I have and John is getting the ACT. I have also read that one guy through 3 exedy twin disks in the matter of months.

ya casey imma just go wit the ACT plus a Fidanza flywheel. im too impatient on trying to save up for a exedy twin disk, plus i did my research and ACT should be more than enough for a while.

the only thing is i dont know how 6k+ launches with slippage it could handle. i dont wanna burn another clutch within 4 months like i just did. man, and i love launching. only had my car since may 2004 and only actually driven it for 2 months. now aint that a same. owned the car for 5 months now and only driven in it for the total of 2 months.

john was up wit u, u win the lotto or somethin. u always buying sh*t. and u were amazed on how much money i make.

Justin, I think I have the lowest miles for the amount of time I own it.

July 03 to now, 6200 miles. (15 months) That's 413 miles a month average. I basically just drive it to the meets and around Summerlin. Went to LA one day for tuning. Wow, I need to drive it more. But I put 12000 miles on the accord this year alone (leased and need to use miles).

John, how are the H-Tech springs? I don't want such a big drop. Also may order a MR BOV, Cusco polished front strut bar and a Helix Hi-flow cat. Not sure because I don't want to retune. I wonder if the cat will change the tune much. I would not think.

I'm running an ACT setup in my GSX, 2600-lb pressure plate with a street disc. I two-step/stutter-box launch at 6k and run a set of 19-inch rims on the car all the time. The setup has enough bite to spin all four tires at launch, still managing 1.73 - 1.75, 60-ft times. I'd say I had at least 80 passes at the track as well as several street launches before the clutch needed to be replaced. I'm running the same setup again in the car now. I'm still on the original tranny, but the 3rd gear syncro is getting tired. The tranny and rest of the drivetrain has held up good, though. I believe I owe it to the clutch setup … it slips enough to not shock drivetrain components, but has enough bite to perform well! Just my schfifty-five cents!
