Thats just extra weight, try running 1/4 tank of 91, and spike it with a little 100 octane - less weight, and less prone to detonation.
Something to think about.

On another note I just ordered the hosting for LVEvos.org ..and should have that up and running by Monday (they lag a bit in getting it set up), and I'll work on the site a bit today and tomorrow. The only down fall is I'm going to use phpbb for the forums insted of vbulletin ( phpbb is free and is what socalevo.net uses where as vbulletin is $160 ...well maybe I'll use vbulletin ... what do you guys think?)

Ok guys here are our choices:
1) Dynoflash Nov 13th-14th http://www.socalevo.net/forums/viewt...15a5419e#58076
2) TurboTrix Dec 1st-4th https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...d.php?t=101121
Both are $299 and both are going to be in SoCal. Dyno time is not included. It would be an extra $100 at the least.
Let's get a poll going to see who's interested.

I don't have any new mods since my last custom tune with Al. But all this talk about TT making more power may be appealing. Al does not dyno tune in SoCal, only street tune and with traffic on Saturdays, it was a pain and dangerous. I don't want to do that again.
If TT uses a dyno, it will give me a printout of HP/TQ and much safer than driving. But it will cost a lot. 300 for TT and 200 or so per car dyno time. Not worth it unless I got new cams and IC and pipes, injectors. Not ready for it. Plus a new clutch to hold that 350 WHP.
I'll wait for next spring sometime. For now with a new hi flow cat and my other mods, the car is plenty fast in cooler weather. Should be very close to 300 WHP with my custom tune. With 93 octane, it would be there, no doubt.
Next mods will be springs, sway bar, wheels, clutch. Then later move on to cams, IC and pipes, injectors.

Just to let you know for a IC and IC piping you will not need a retune. They do not affect A/F as far as I know. I thought TT included dynotime in there price. I guess not after reading the thread again.

Upgrading to a front mount and piping with the stock turbo will yeild you very little to no gains. You would benefit alot greater with that setup and a turbo. Think about the little turbo now trying to fill a greater space. I've seen people lose HP's with upgrading front mount.. My .02 ..
