hmmmm... with my minor mods i thought i would be doing a lot better than my first ever run when it was bone stock which i clocked 13.7's... maybe im really in a need for a tune...

Ran tonight on my 91 octane map. We'll see what happens when I shoot some racegas in and bump the boost up to 25 psi.

 

You need some 1.7 60' foots. That E.T. will come down dramatically.

 

It was good having Gonzo back out at the track tonight. Chris did good too with his stock MR.

I'm gonna retire the launch control since I cut 3 1.6 60fts tonight without it. I was only launching at 5000rpm too.

 

Chris improved alot in one night. I knew it could be done. Congrats to Jesse for banging out those mid 1.6 60' foots. Jesse is the official record holder now.

By the way, EVOs love getting hotlapped. Don't understand why, but the best times can be had by hotlapping.

i dunnoe... i think something maybe wrong with my car too... im not sure... but when i accelerate at lower rpms i hear like a faint crackling, rubbing, grinding sound coming somewhere around the intake area... these are my performance mods... 3" full tanabe concept g blue tbe, forge mbc(set at 20 psi), aps twin vent bov, and k & n drop in filter... before i headed out to the tracks i did an oil change and put in the filter and it was running fine, until after a couple of miles it started to make those kind of sounds... i have to check it out on my day off n see what's going on

 

Maybe it's the throwout bearing?

 

i hope it isn't, it only makes those kinds of sound when i accelerate before 3k rpm and anything above that it goes away arrghhh... i hope it isn't my throwout bearing... i don't wanna spend money taking it to the dealershi* and have them check it out... if i can't figure it out... they're my last resort... but hey... thanks for helping me out though
