hey, does anyone know if the guy with the silver evo 8 I was looking at still has it? I got an offer on my Bugeye wrx tonight. If he gets the loan, it will be sold tomarrow and I'll be lookin for another evo.

Stock Evo IX MR= 228whp
TBE = 268 IIRC
TBE with flash = 314whp
this was done at DDP with a simple BR mail in flash, not a custom tune for the car

What exactly is the difference between the Evo IX
SSL and SE compared to the GSR?

 

evo ix has da MIVEC engine... ssl has a full leather interior and a infiniti sound system and moonroof... SE has da red recaro stiches n da aluminum bbs rims... GSR its just stock... nuttin special... but it also has a recaro blue seats... but for me EVO is still an EVO

 

I think he meant all of them being IX's. Which mean they all have the same interior as your gsr, with the exception of the SSL. SSL is sun sound and leather package. The SE is the new special edition with the silver MR bbs's, red stitching on the seats, comes with bilsteins, etc. They all have the exact same motor and turbo. Its just appearance stuff.

ordered one case of black paint that contains 6 12oz cans, another of primer and 3 cans of clear. Those cans werent avaliable at teh store so I went online and ordered through there.

i have ssl and removed the sub woofer to make room for my cusco rear strut and v-brace so I longer dont need it. So the stock amp is worthless having now since I also changed my headunit
