They are deff a fun car... I have driven them many times and the will put your A$$ into the seat fo-sho... Comp to the Evo in most ways, but handling is even more on rails

I was going for the wide wheel look and I was offered 18x10 +32 front and 18x9 +32 rear or an amazing deal on 18x8 +30 all around.... I have commited to the 18x8 but can still change my mind what do you think about running the wider wheel up front?

 

The Exige S has a hefty price. Not sure if it's worth it. Love the look of that little b!tch.

Staggered setups are definitely nice to widen the front track of the Evos. Just watch front caliper clearance and of course you can't rotate tires from front to rear anymore without breaking the tires down and having them remounted/balanced. Running a 10 out front with that offset may require wider front fenders depending on the width tire you're planning to run. A stretched narrower tire may be fine on the stock body, not certain.

I've driven Elise & Exige at SMMP..... fun little cars but nowhere near as fast as our rattle boxes....

Hey i drove a elise. Im 6'2" and I dont know how i got my legs in, LOL. It took a couple trys for me to fit. Then soon as i got in I thought to myself ur dead in that car if u get hit by a truck. And it feels so slow compaired to a evo. Handling was fun, but not worth the negatives.

 

I'm 5'2", so I'd have to scoot the seat all the way up.

I'll be taking the evo and running a new map made for Rocket Brand 111 leaded. I don't really expect much more then the 100oct map, (that I havent run yet) but I gota half tank of the stuff in the tank to burn up so.....They made about the same power. Just the leaded stuff needed more timing and leaner AFRs to make what the 100 did on less. Go figure. LOL
BTW, they filled the tanks 6 weeks ago so the stuff is fresh.
Anyone else goin?
