I believe a hour or more of road tuning is safer and and more productive than thirty minutes on a dyno.
there are sometimes variables on the road that wont come up on the dyno.

dyno tune that bish but if you plan on more mods then do a road tune right now! You really don't have many mods at this time, wait till you get everything all at once instead of like me getting re dynotuned all the time its not cheap

it all comes down to your plans with the car

IMHO, from a tuning standpoint. Its easier to get a good base map on a dyno (fuel curve mostly) because of the graphs. Also you can see if there are actual power gains from changing timing, boost.....Then after the dyno tune, a road tune to check for knock, and dial it in. Just remember more is not always better.
Example: My car made more power @ 25psi then 27psi with no other changes. I would never have known this from a road tune. But, although my car had 0 knock on the dyno, once on the road, there were a few area's that needed a slight reduction in timing to get the knock count back down to 0.
Just FYI, you can get a decent tune either way, but doing both is best.
Hope that helps you decide.

You guys are welcome to go to Dougs if you want, but I dont think those numbers are very good. Everyone knows how I feel about Doug so I will just leave that alone.

Like Boostn said, for some reason the car will take more timing on the dyno. If you dont check it again on the street and do a road tune, YOU WILL HAVE KNOCK. Thats why I road tune with a wideband, period. I dont need to set my afr on a dyno because I have a wideband I can set up on your car. My afr's will be just a solid.

Ive logged way too many cars that just got off the dyno and had knock, one in particular that was done by the tuner above that had 17 counts. To each his own, if you have your car on a dyno all its life, get dyno tuned. If you drive the f'n thing, get a road tune. Its common sense. The dyno just doesnt put the same load on the car as when its on the road, nor does it get the same airflow. Best friend used to work for Dynojet and I practically lived at that place, trust me I know how dyno's work.

Get tuned, then go to the dyno and see what you make like Boostn said. Best way. Thats what we did with Anthonys car, and he made 380hp and 400tq with just buschur intake, MBC, exhaust, and cosi's. Thats it, less the 2k in mods.

Its the same as your oil bolt, m18x1.5 or something like that. I have extras if you need one, pretty sure. Will check when I get home and call ya bro.
