Las Vegas Evo's
Im planning on making it. I need to iron out several more boost leaks, but i will be there. Aside from the throttle body (got the replacement gasket and seals but just havent had time to install) i can get to 12psi before it starts with a mild leak.
there's another place in town that sells the t-bolt clamps for 3 bucks.. some kind off-road performance shop. all hoses sell 'em for 5.50 or more i think.
When is the next autoX event. I've never entered before, but after getting into with Chris a little bit I think i'll look into it. Since I've never been to any before, first off, I'd need to know what I'll need to do, to be able to get out there and drive. As far as fee's intructor fees (first time) helmets ect.. I'm sure it's all different deppending on who is hosting and such, just some basic info through it my way!
I might be there again tonight hehe.
As far as AutoX, dude come on out. Check out www.lvrscca.com. Its only $45 bucks if your not an scca member, not much at all. The next one is the north-south shootout so its kind of far, almost to reno. They havent posted when our next in town autoX will be, but will probably out at stateline at the Buffalo Bills again. Helmets they arent too picky on, any motorcycle helmet will do, but if you were gonna buy one make sure its sa2005 in case you do any road course work later on. They also rent them for $10. No instructor fees or anything like that, pretty much can just have someone ride with you and give you pointers. Its always hosted by las vegas region of the sports car club of america (lvrscca), so fees and all that are always the same.
