i was going to go to the track today, but i had a issue come up with the MAF engine code and it is now running in "null" mode. if you guys could please help. I asked the noobie forum, but no answers =[

Ok I searched, but I could not find any answers so I have to ask.

Recently I just replaced my stock UICP with a custom UICP everything is almost the same except there is no bung for the meth kit yet and it is shorter with less bends. The meth kit is not fully hooked up, but is tapped on the MAF just no booster line or power atm.

Could this be the reason why the check engine light is on with a MAF error code? or could it just be the MAF went Bad? I'll have the code tomorrow if needed, the car is at the shop atm. I just do not see how this could happen because I didnt get this code with the stock pipe in the same situation.

BTW we reset it and it went away for an hour, but it came back.
Help a noobie out please!

IX turbo

anxious to install a IX turbo i have on my VIII , but i just noticed the guy i got it from had what appears to be a blue bov gasket in place of the oem metal gasket on the turbo outlet pipe. it seems to be the correct size and a snug tight fit, should i replace it with a stock gasket before i install?

Hey, I got a question for you guys. I just bought some parts for my car to include a new air intake, uicp, licp, bov, tbe, turbo adjuster, timer, and such. I am wondering if I need to get a new fuel pump or will my factory one do? Also, I am looking into moving to Vegas here in about a year. What are the car clubs like there? Are there any meets with you Evo guys? Hit me up with some info and if you guys could help me with my question that would be great. Thanks
