Alan's motor went pop? Damn, that isn't good. You also have to remember, Chris.... he was running that thing out to almost 9000 rpm. A 2.3 isn't meant to rev that high.

Sorry Alan, hope all goes well for you. If I were you I would be sueing the living sh*t out of him. Hes good friends with buschur, tell him he owes you a replacement.
Just because a motor went at dougs doesn't mean it's his fault. Was it dynojets fault when rene's motor went there?

Chris you make yourself look like a douche when you make comments like this regardless of who your talking about

ahhhh sorry Wes... Im going to have to say that this motor AND the other kids motor that Trevor took apart would be his fault.
Alan is in Brazil.... the car was tuned by Buschur I believe a few weeks ago and Doug was "tuning" it again.
Thats 2 motors that we know off in 3 months, on the dyno.
He is just overly aggressive with tunes and maxes the car out, I have seen many of his tunes and I cant really understand his methods, some of them look like a few maps pasted together so they work and then he block tunes them from there to the particular car.
I am really Indifferent to it but it sucks for my buddy Alan to come home to this.
Regardless i would not let him tune my car unless things change, I know there are alot of people running around happy on his tunes, but the tunes I have seen are sometimes scary.

that's not cool guys, were any of you there and have the knowledge to diagnose the issue? I have seen freak parts break all the time with a lot of power.

Brandon, to trap 136 in 4th gear, you are turning way more than 8200 rpm.

How can I tell if I have a bad motor mount? I know having the car shake violently or what seems like wheel hop is sometimes a way to notice but how can I visually determine if a mount is bad?

Btw, I'm referring to my BLOX front roll stopper...after WOT the car shakes back and forth pretty bad but during normal driving feels like I had just installed the roll stopper.

It's never done that before but i'm sure it could also be just in my head. I've never had any issue with motor mounts so i'm new to this. Any help appreciated!

seen both... and I have owned the koyo. I have to say the koyo is a much better quality piece, it is thicker then the stocker so if you have a turbo kit, it will be very close to the radiator... the mishimoto is closer to the stock in thickness, have heard that it cools better then stock.

I have never seen a stock evo mount take a poop... I have seen where some motor mount bolts backed out though... I would check your rear mount
