hey does anybody know what happened to vegasimports.com it has been an empty domain for a few days

 

Md dumped the site... not sure why but mello told me he got rid of it

 

Dude, work security at the base with USProtect. I think it's like $40 an hour to check I.D.s.

 

Actually Jack Crazy got rid of the domain since he owned it. I thought MD was going to pick it back up, but rumor has it that he is going to create a whole new car forum all together. He just needs funding for vbulletin license then he'll be back in business.

 

Either way its "F'ed" up b/c thats where my web site redireted people to my sponsor section on VI!

Well not my decision, that was up to them how they ran that site i didnt have $hit to say about it (obviously since I didn't pay into it)! I saw it coming but thought things would work out. They had there own place where nobody but admin's had access to so whatever happen there is why VI is shut down.

 

well doesnt make it any less crappy i didnt get any notice and well id have liked to have notice what if i wanted to buy it off of them and keep it up and running. wasnt it a topic recently there that was talking about all the sites not being used or being shut down

 

Thank god I am a sponsor and Mod on another site and was able to move everything ver before this happened.

I owned VegasImports forums. Jack Crazy owns VegasImports.com. years ago we made a pact to talk to each other before we made changes to the website. When I reopened VegasImports.com, jack had no money and i allowed him to put google ads on the site. Since then he has contributed NOTHING to the site but spamming his band. 2 weeks ago-he put more pay ads on the forums that we did not discuss. I asked him to remove the ads and everything went to ****. It got into a pissing match and I felt like since he's the "landlord", ie being able to dictate what goes on the forums JUST because he owns the domain name that I was in a ****ty position. I gave countless hours, dollars in advertising, and effort into making VI what it was. While it still wasn't what I wanted as in terms of member base and traffic, it was what it was. Me and several mods offered to purchase the domain from Jack, but he refused to sell at a resonable price claiming it'll be worth so much more blah blah blah. I knew he was going to redirect the dns to his crappy search engines, so I sent a mass email to the users indicating what was going to happen. That night, exactly at 12:00, jack redirected the domain to his crappy search engine. I tried everything I could to keep VI up, but in the end, I'm MUCH happier without a landlord.
I have moved onto building www.GotWalked.com, and it WILL be bigger and BETTER.

Mello was wrong. Jack dumped the site.

How is it F'd up? How much money have you paid me in advertising? How much have you made off advertising on my forums? Get bent if that's how it is.

I felt like our mods (and others I had let access in) didn't need to see mine and jacks and brians pissing match against jack.
All those other sites, they spawned when VI went down the first time for months because jack couldn't afford the hosting bill anymore. They were built by members that were originally on VegasImports.com.
And as for buying it, I would NEVER have sold my database or anything to anyone that hasn't contributed to the forums. Jack coulda sold you the domain, but without the db it's worthless just like it is now. I now own VegasImports.org, and .net JUST to make sure he doesnt try and make a profit.
Yeah-well keep it that way.
