Las Vegas Evo's
oh dang.. somethings rattling temporarily when I turn the key to the on position somewhere in my car.. that and once I've driven it for a bit it stops.. just for like 20 seconds when I turn it on.. must be some wiring in the way or somethin..
Luckily, if its happening when the car is turned to on but not on, it's not the motor or tranny.. just a fan or something.. gotta poke around to investigate..

well today i drove my evo out for a test drive after the axle got swapped. flushed the tranny fluid too. for the first 5 min i thought i was in the clear, never shifted better.lol until i did a slow speed turn and heard noises comming from the passenger side wheel. damn it. i thought i could get a way with just swapping the driverside axle, turns out i was wrong. im going to dive in few minutes, good thing i got the other axle while i picked up the driverside. wish me luck
need help locating a place that make stickers? just took the wing off and need to cover the holes or put silver vinyl sticker on them. was thinking of those places that do a whole body wrap for the car. looks like it will hold up with the hot sun beating on it.
hey bro i have a friend that does auto body vinyl wraps lmk
we didnt bleed my lifters when my cams got installed either. but mine dont tick or atleast i dont notice it. cant a cylinder head place do that for you. like Baker. let us know if you find out anything.

how long have you had your cams alfredo???......someone told me to go to trevtec to see if here can hear the clicking noise and to find out if its really my rockers or lifters......ill ask him if he can bleed the lifters cuz brand new rockers and lifter are expensive @ the dealership and i found some BLE lifters on lanchershop.com for $360 but dont know if its worth buying them???
Question for any evo guys ages 18-22 or around there. I am looking into getting a hold of a 7 when I turn in my GTS and I am curious to see how much local evo owners in my age range are paying for insurance in this city. I am currently paying 250/month for full coverage with gieco. What are you guys paying and with which carrier?
i have state farm

when i first moved hear in 03 i drove a Z28 camaro. it was bad ***. i let someone borrow it and it got totaled. by the end of 05 i had money to wheel and deal. jan 01 2006 i bought my evo8 w/4k and soon after i hooked up with some of the guys that had evos already. think there was only about 4-5 at the time. so now they are tripple OG's lol. anyways i was the evo that had the least mods and rite away they pointed me in the rite direction 3 months later i had alot of bolt ons including cams, the car had around 9k on the odometer. i now have 69k miles on the car, so its been a while. i think i heard some clicking at first but it was very vague, now i dont hear a peep. wont matter too much longer as i will have a new set up comming soon.
