I would definitely do the SS brake lines and as far as pads, what brand are they? The setup Gonzo talked about is really good. Ferodo DS is the way to go or even Hawk is pretty decent.

 

anyone has a hookup for stock rockers and lifters for my evo 9 head???.....do they make aftermarket ones???.......i need to replace them

 

that track was packed. i got there around 9pm and didnt get in the gates till 10:30 . i got to run rite away after i got in. first run ,i pulled a rookie of the year move and tried to burn out in the water. bad move. wheel hop like a pro, all through 1st. felt like a strong pull though, 12.50@113mph w/a 1.78 60'. waited for about 45min then i got my 2nd run of the night and my last. 12.32@110mph w/a 1.89 60' when i got off the track i felt something was wrong. thought i broke something. i had my friends on hand with tools and a jack. and sure enough broken axle. i was trying different settings with my new coilover. turns out i adjusted the dampers in the front way too stiff. so the first run i got my tires wet and struts were too stiff = wheel hop. and my second run finished them off .

yeah i thought i did alright. i definately learned a few things last night. the next time i will bust into a the 11's for sure. that might have been the last time i run at the track with that set up. and next time i will have a tune. i was reppin for the evos out there though, . on the bright side ,i have a friend that knew someone that had some spare axles so i picked them up for a smoken price. i will swap them out tommorow. and back on the road i go.
