Hey Chris, get some descent fronts(as long as you have about half the material on the rears) and you will be fine, i would be concerned about pads more than lines.
I ran the car through about 10 track days without stainless steel lines, and all was well.
Fluid is a good idea however.
I will be out there running in street stock so come by and say hi!

Oh well, like I said, I won't be too competetive out there, but it should be fun anyway. My goal is at least not be in last place

Yeah rears should be ok, I think I'll get some decent fronts (Project Mu HC+ looks good/cheap enough for a track day). Already have the SS lines, and need to get some some ATE super blue fluid. Wish I could afford better stuff, but I'm pretty strapped right now.

im going to the track this weekend just to watch....
anyone has some used (still have good life on them) stock rear brake pads...mine are almost the to metal....didnt really noticed it till last night....LMK...hopefully i dont have to buy new ones cuz tight on money right now

Hey guys! I got my evo a couple of months ago and decided to chime in now since taylorhawkins broke the ice lol. What time does the Redline TA thing start? I work at 3 so i'm hoping I could at least go for a little while and check out some of the pros actually abuse their evos haha.

Hey anyone have a suggestion on where I could take my motorcycle for repair? I didn't ride it for like 3-4 months and busted it out the other day, and it runs like **** - like it's on 3 cyl or something. It's a 2001 CBR929RR. I took off the tank, and the injectors to check them, but I don't know what else to look at (I don't know a whole lot about bikes).

I think practice starts around 8am. But you could get a couple hours of watching practice in before 3 I'm sure. Not exactly sure when the time attack sessions start.
